E Movable Chords


Lets take a look on E chord. Now we will learn about movable E chord. The formula of A minor movable chords applies in E chord as well but in different chord. Once you master the E chord on a guitar fretboard, you are ready to learn a movable E chords so the F chord, G chord and even A chord will appear in E chord form. Just for reminder, this technique requires index finger as a barre finger and barre string must be correct in order to make the form chords sounds right and nice. Do your practice more often to master all of this chord. Practice make pefect!





Now we will form F chord in E chord form. Simply move the E chord half step front with the index finger barre the first fret. See figure below.



It can clearly see an E chord form in yellow dots and barre the first fret in blue dots.Here's another chord that using E chord form but in different fret. Move your finger to one step ahead and you will get a G chord. See figure below.

Then a one step ahead to form an A chord in 4th fret and B chord in 5th fret. As simple as that! Remember, the shape is still the same, only fret is different. Happy practice!
